In my opinion, this is a game you either HATE, or love. This game features a screen with scrolling arrows that go to the beat of the music. you need a dance pad for this game to be enjoyable, but you can use the controller. I am on the LOVE side of the spectrum. This game has changed my life. i am alot more coordinated and in alot better shape. I lost 20 LBS. playing Dance Dance Revolution. This is the answer to parent who are tired of there kids sitting around jamming buttons all day. This game looks completely boring when you look at it, but you will find yourself dancing until you collapse. there is four difficulties, that include beginner, light, standard, and heavy. This game is one of my favorite things to do, and it completely rashaped my life.
Now to the new features in Dance Dance Revolution: Extreme. DDR Exteme features the all new mission mode, allowing you to play your way around a series of odd new challenges. Another new feature is the party mode. It allows the use of a Eye Toy to add some fun. The new interface is one thing that really brought me down with this game, because you will sometimes find yourself fustrated at the fact that you sometimes accidently start on light when you want to play on heavy. I am giving Dance Dance Revolution for the PS2, a nine out of ten, but i am giving the rest of the series that stayed true to the old interface, and whopping Ten Out Of Ten!
