What can I say. The game is by far the best PS2 game that I have played yet. It just amazes me the things taht Rockstar was able to fit into this one CD package. The soundtrack is great! The graphics are not tremendous, but the gameplay definatly makes up for that. I love the story line and the voice acting is terrific.
Overall, the most amazing thing to me is the sheer size of the state of San Andreas. The first city, Los Santos, seemed to be as big or bigger than vice city. One reason being the variety of the streets. There are few streets that go straight through Los Santos. They have turns or end suddenly, which makes driving from point A, to point B really interesting. On top of that, the use of the Los Santo's river system and other underground roudways makes the city very 3 dimensional. The sheer size of the city is mind boggling.
I also like the interactive character mods. Deciding to be a muscle bound gansta or a burger eating fatboy is great. Take off my shirt to show off muscles or put on a Hoody to hide my dunlop. I love the customization of cars, and my person.
There are still some problems with targeting. And trying to shoot out a gas tank is pretty difficult because of the lock on targeting, but besides and some graphics issues the game truly defies expectations.
