Sudeki : beautiful, large, colorful enviroments? Yep. Interesting storyline? Yeah for the most part. Smooth controls and easy to use interface? Yes. Cool looking characters? Again yes. Big Bad Bosses? Check. Upgradable weapons and armor? Yes, sort of. Appropriate difficulty level? Easy enough to please most people and you wont break the controller playing it. so far so good, right. What's left....oh yeah audio...well the sounds of the environments and music are decent enough but the V.O. is absolutely horrible. Sudeki is basically a great game, but the way the V.O. is done really takes this game down a notch or two. If you didnt know, Sudeki is rated "M" for mature. This is because there is plenty of blood to be spilled in the battles, also the girls in this game are pretty much well, naked. I mean they have clothes on but they are so form fitting and revealing they might as well have been airbrushed on there skin. This is my biggest gripe about Sudeki. The game is confused about what it wants to be. The dialog and vocal tones lean heavily towards younger players, like little kids, yet the battles and subject matter and rating of the game aims for teen to adult players. This approach seems to be the one major thing i didnt like about this game. Although the gameplay is solid, the "kiddieness" of it irritated me. Not enough to stop playing it, but i had the feeling that all of the designers were not on the same page or maybe not even in the same building when they made this game. Onto some good stuff...I should mention that in the battles you can use a character that uses the 3rd person button combo hack and slash approch or go with one that has a first person weapon. I really liked this variety. also there are plenty of side quest to extend the length of the game to about 20 hours. The spells and spirit strikes are really cool and full of bright colorful effects, but not on par with Final Fantasy. Also I rarely got bored while playing. So if you can over look the horrifically bad/infantile dialogue there is alot to like about Sudeki. I give it an 8 out of 10.
