Kingdom Hearts II, the long anticipated sequal to the surprisingly successful Kingdom Hearts game. The first combination of Square and Disney, was probably one of the most unexpected things in recent gaming history. An even bigger surprise was that it worked. It created a very good game that players of all ages generally enjoyed. Personally, I put it at number 6 in my top 10. Does KH2 live up to the hype? To answer that question with all honesty, No it didn't. Was it a bad game? Not at all, it was a fairly good rpg. It will most likely disappoint, but overall as an rpg, it's not too bad, and at it's best points, it's at it's best. The biggest difference is the story, basically, there is not much of a story to follow, you'll just be watching things that try to be a story, and for some reason you'll enjoy it(Like Harry Potter books, WTF is up with that). The battle system is the biggest difference. You will no longer spend all your time hitting X as fast as you can, you will occasionally have to hit triangle for a special "Reaction Command". This adds a little twist, and actually improves the battle system. That's about the only improvement. It's about 20 hours shorter, the graphics didn't get better or worse, the story is confusing and rendered useless, the voice acting stayed the same(which was absolutely superb in the first one) the soundtrack stays pretty much at the same level as the first one(mostly because it is the same soundtrack) and the worlds, all though a few more than in the first one, are smaller, and take less time to complete(Maybe 1 hour per world). Overall, this was a pretty decent game, many people will think it's great, some will think it's good, some will think it's just "Alright I guess?" and others will be like, WTF KH, you can do better. I'd say, if you liked the first one, then you should be alright playing this one, and it'll be worth it. If you haven't played the first one, then you're just plain retarded, cuzz that my friends, was a good game. The final word on this one, It's worth buying, so go ahead and get it.
