Although Jak 3 is a great game I believe that Jak 3 along with Jak 2 are not very original in the features that the game includes.
When the first Jak and Dexter was realised the game had no weapons limited vehicles and was basically a new version of Crash Bandicoot for the PS2. It involved exploring and collecting items while killing enemies with your usual jump and punch attacks.
Shortly after the first Ratchet & Clank got released, witch revolutionised the adventure gaming genre with numerous weapons witch allowed for a really fun enemy killing experiance including upgrades and racing stages to through in the mix as well as a hover bored and grinding.
So what do the makers of Jak 2 & 3 do??? They try to implament weapons into the game and racing stages.... they even whent as low as putting the hoverboard in!!! if you want to make a game better then its rivals come up with something original please... the only thing that was original was the free roaming environment.
Dont get me wrong its a great game but Ratchet & Clank came up with these ideas along before Jak did and for that i dont rate it as hight as it should be.
