I played and loved Doom 1, but hearing that Doom 3 was going to be a remake almost made me not get it. When it comes down the gameplay, the graphics are nice...ONLY IF YOU HAVE A TOP OF A LINE CARD! My video card can run Half-Life 2 in high detail with almost no problem, but cann't run this game in low detail without problems! Oh, and when it comes to realism, it is definitly NOT realalistic! "OMG! I killed this zombie! Lets see what happens when you shoot the corpse a lot! OMG! His brain popped out! Wait, I was shooting his leg! How did his brain pop out?" or "Walking down the halls. Nothing here. OMG! IMP! Wait, all I need to do is just shoot it before it shoots me! What a wimp!" Doom 1 was a whole lot better then Doom 3, mostly beause it was REVOLUTIONARY and FRESH AND NEW! If you want to get a new game this year, and Doom 3 is on your list, take it off. Its not worth it. And I haven't even talked about multiplayer yet...
