GTA: San Andreas is the best game I have ever played. It is much better than the previous two, which are two of the better PS2 games that I have ever played. This game just blows everything else out of the water. If you haven't bought it yet, whats wrong with you?!? Go get it, quick! Haha.
This is a very thought out and finely detailed games. Many things have improved from the last two although gameplay is the same. You can swim in this game, unlike the previous two. In my opinion, the cars don't handle as well, making it more realistic. You gain skill points for almost everything: Driving, Cycling, Motorcycling, Lung Capacity, Gambling, Stanima, Muscle, Flying, Shooting (You have to build skill for each type of weapon). I may have missed some.
There are driving schools. They give you skill points, teach, and give you vehicles. You get medals for each test, rewards for all golds. You can buy clothes, food, houses, tattoos, jewelry, hair cuts, weapons, cars. A very cool thing that has been added, you can fix up cars. You can select the color, rims, scoops, increased bass, hydralics, NAS, roofs, stripes, spoilers, etc.
You can gamble (as mentioned before), shoot pool, play PS2, shoot basketball, workout, eat, etc.
This game simply has it all! You can have gang members follow you around and help you. The more respect you have, the more you can get to follow you.
San Andreas has everything 3 and Vice City had plus lots more. I am sure I missed plenty of stuff, but it would be impossible to name all of the good things about this game. It is amazing, I expected it to be good, but I would never expect it to be this good. For me, this is the perfect game. I hope this helps someone.
