Evolutionary, not revolutionary. I think if you've played City of Heroes, you'll find that Everquest 2 seems a bit boring. We've ramped up from EverQuest 1 to Dark Age of Camelot, to City of Heroes -- and now EverQuest 2 seems to have deflated the momentum. It feels like EverQuest 1 with some of it's core gameplay issues ironed out -- yes that's a good thing, but fixing gameplay issues, and introducing new and exciting gameplay features are two different things. The other problem I have with EQ2 is that it feels like a Walt Disney movie. In Dark Age of Camelot, I spent time honing my skills to slaughter enemy players. In City of Heroes, I'm fighting arch-criminals in the first 10 levels. In EQ2 I'm Mr. Fed Ex (again; just like EQ1)... or performing ridiculously childish tasks like catching some girls kitty. Come on.
