The first game I ever had was Sonic 2 for the Genesis, I was four years old. I mastered that game and I have come to have a special love for all the Sonics. This game is perfect. Maybe it doesn't have all the extras, but aren't games supposed to be about the games? It has four AAA titles on the disc: Sonics 1, 2, 3, & Knuckles. They play perfectly on the Gamecube controller, for those who were skeptic, now you know. It is nice having all these titles together, so now you wont need to blow into the cartridges as much anymore. If you like platform games at all, you'll love Sonic Mega Collection, a must own for all Gamecube owners.
