This game really proves it is worthy. It has the best qualities a game could have. I say this because it has the best graphics, well actually let's talk about the history of Tiger Woods PGA Tour. It originally started in 2000. They came out with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2001, and they have continued ever since. These games really prove that they are worthy enough to be the best sport games ever. Here's my review. . .
Game-Play
The game-play is a perfect. It is so fun, because they have the best courses that make you laugh for some reason. You look at it, and it's like it's got a joke to it, or you might be laughing because you are wondering if they are kidding that you have to hit the ball 8000 yards, in order to get on the green. Though, 8000 is not true. But also, the fun thing is, is that it has the best clean fun. I mean playing this golf game, is like really playing golf except you don't have to pay a ton of money, like at those country clubs. It's free, well the game-play is. The difficulty is good. They have they hardest opponents. Because they always let you win, then it's their turn to back-fire, and come speeding up all the way to your average. They are toughies, but that is what makes the game very difficult. The controls are very good for a golf game. You take the analog joy-stick, and move it back, and forward to swing the club to hit the ball, and sometimes if you do it perfect, you will get a power shot. In which your ball goes slightly farther than usual. Though, it's rare.
Story
There basically is NO story. But your goal is, it to become the best golfer there is. While on your journey you face unbelievably hard courses, difficult foes, (not enemy foes, just opponents, or challengers). This is all in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005!
Graphics/Sound
The graphics are very cool. They have a slightly different taste to them, other than any other game. They seem to have dwelling reality. It seems so real. That is what makes the graphics so unique in this game, they make you have an unbelievable experience. The sound is good, however, the commentators can get on your nerves. They are like:
"Bill, I think my grandma putts better." OR
"Tim, was that a crow that dropped dead because of the ball?"
That is what I am talking about. You wish your character can pick up the ball, and chuck it at the commentator.
Play-Time/Re-Playability
This game took me about 7 hours, and then I think you will definitely play this game again, because it has the best qualities, a game could have.
Final Recommendation
I recommend that you rent first, you may not like the way the game-play is put. But like me, I bought it immediately, and I loved the game. It is up to you to decide.
