On this site I had voted this game a 10, but don't get me wrong... this game is not perfect. This game is extremely fun and meets my expectations of being the great sequal, but it has a few flaws. Some of these might not matter to you, but as a hardcore Halo fan (by that I mean, I have read all of the books, basically know everything about both games, and beleive that this game takes a lot of strategy for skill) a few things bug me like not being able to crouch while you are running. This is a pain because one good skill from Halo that distinguished the pros from the noobs was crouching up and down while in a firefight. Also, I disagree with the removal of the health bar. If it does take several shorts for you to die once your shields are down...why not just have the bar there? This is not only an annoyance, but it also doesnt exactly follow the detailed history of Spartan 117 and his genetically modified self. Last, but certainly not least, the optimatch isn't the best. I can live with the new party system, but I can't stand the optimatch because if you are searching for a game, you can't specify specific details such as in a rumble pit... you might want oddball instead of slayer. This could be very wel fixed though in the future by an update from Bungie, but we will just have to wait and see. As for the campaign, everything is almost erfect. The story is great and VERY mind boggling which, keep in mind, is amazing but might be hard for littler kids to understand. This is a great game overall, and despite the small flaws, is a must-have for your Xbox.
