Actually, this game is kinda special to me. I got it on the day I got my license for about fifteen bucks. Anyways, enough about that. I've been a big fan of the RE series ever since they came out with RE 2 on the 64.
It took me a while to finally master the control scheme they had set up. I really didn't like first person controls on a third person game, but you gotta live with it. Also, the 180 degree turn-around proved worthless at first but became invaluable towards the Antarctic base. I love the setup of the controls itself, but I just didn't like the whole first person control-third person prespective thing. In this day and age, graphics play a huge part in the game.
In my honest opinion, you can have a great game, but the graphics have to match with it. As always, CAPCOM has yet again amazed us all with the graphics. The only thing that kinda creeped me out was that Wesker and Chris were the only guys that looked like guys. Steve and Alfred didn't. I mean no insult in that, either.
I've always been fond of the RE storyline. Kill a couple zombies, find out some information on Umbrella, Inc., escape the huge ball of flaming death just in the nick of time, and fight a REALLY big boss. Repetitive? Yes. Boring? No.
CAPCOM is one of my favorite game companies, next to SEGA, of course. I will continue to trudge deeper into the world of Resident Evil and try to come up with a theory of my own for Umbrella, Inc.
