Nintendo's WarioWare crew has done it again. This time around, WarioWare: Twisted! offers players who don't happen to have a DS yet an oppurtunity for some truly unique gameplay.
The storyline (what little of it there is) takes place before WarioWare: Touched!, because Twisted! was actually released in Japan before Touched!
All of the favorite recurring characters make a return, like Orbulon, Kat and Ana, and 9-Volt. Yet characters like Ashley (from Touched!) don't appear because of the differnece in release times.
Most of the micro/mini-games require you only to revole your GBA/SP/DS like a steerig wheel to control the onscreen action. A few character's game sets also require you to use the A button to complete a certain action (and Kat and Ana's require nothing more than a button press).
If you are a fan of the WarioWare series, there is a lot to be happy about here. The games are fun, fairly straightforward, and only vaguely familar. For games that have been seen before, there is usually a new (pardon the pun) "twist" to it.
For non-fans, I suggest picking up the original WarioWare for the GBA first. If you like that, reun, don't walk, back to the store to pick up Twisted! You won't regret it.
