When I first played Halo:Combat Evolved, it looked like a just a good game. Then I started to get more into it and before I knew it I was a Halo FanBoy. When I first heard of the release of Halo:2 I was estatic. And so I bought the first one at Samgoody. It is a great game. No not great, excellent. The best of the best. It completly is a step up from Halo:CE. I can barely stop playing it. The single player so far is awsome. It gets pretty tricky to play in the higher levels on heroic and legendary. Well I have so far learn to shoot head shots and RUN LIKE HELL! There's some old weapons but some new ones as well. You can't beat your trusty shotgun to knock those flood on their buts. And the pistol for close combat. In the early levels you get a lot of ammo for the new and improved Assualt Rifle (now called Battle Rifle) and the new SMG. The Pistol is now a magnum and does not a feature a scope. Most of the game you'll be playing with Covenant weapons. My fave weapon in thsi category so far is the needler. You still got your classics like the plasma rifle, plasma pistols, etc. But now you can get plasma swords, Carbine Rifles, Particle Beam Sniper Rifles, brute shots and more. The hardest enemies so far are still the hunters and Brutes a new boss, Tartarus. He's a Prophet protector in a new breed of aliens. There are 2 new kinds of aliens. The brutes and the Drones. You still have the charming grunts, the tuff Elites, and the Jackals. The Brutes are ape like creatures who Love to ditch their weapons and melee attack you. Drones are flying creatures armed with plasma pistols and needlers. The Drones have limited flying ability so wait till they land. The Brutes are best taken out with a well placed plasma grenade or a few shots to the head with a heavier weapon The Jackals have now given up their shields for particle beam sniper rifles so watch out! They like to hide and snipe.I like to snipe them in there heads and make them backflip. there is also a new warthog with a gause gun on the back
and now you can drive the covenant tanks an the new wraiths.
