NFSU2 is the best all-round driving game out there for the xbox. With a shelf life longer than most canned goods.
It's a great 'arcade style driving' game, built around the GTA 'free roaming' gameplay.
To really get the most out of NFSU2 you have to play it with maximum levels of traffic. All the vehicles (of which there are many!)have perfect handling (including the top heavy SUV's)
so dont worry, as weaving through the other cars that populate the vast city is pretty easy and fun aswell.
By playing through the career mode you 'unlock' the race's and the Vehicles.
If you only have the time (or money) to play one driving game this winter, then play NFSU2. There are elements of Outrun and Burnout here, plus plenty more (like the seriously wicked Drag Racing) to boot.
Lastly a message for the developers. Please fix those minor non-gameplay 'faults' for next time.
With better damage modelling, better track racing and a better messaging system, NFSU2 could have easily been a all-time classic.
