Not being the biggest fan of on-road racing, I was pleasantly surprised by the release of Project Gotham Racing.
The controls, for both the interface and the cars themselves, are easy to follow and learn. The 'kudos' system is a very nice touch for those wanting to unlock new cars and tracks.
Graphically speaking, PGR is one sweet title...detail everywhere, except down the sidestreets.
The radio station idea is a very nice touch as well. The cars sound like their real-life counterparts.
The 'kudos' system was designed for those who wanted plenty of replay value already built into this title.
Gameplay: 9.0 - Easy to pickup-and-play, challenging enough to keep you playing.
Graphics: 9.0 - Everything done nice and neat, except those dis-heartening side streets.
Sounds: 9.0 - radio stations add nice touch. Cars and screetching sounds real to life.
Replay Value: 9.5 - With the 'kudos' system in place, there is more than enough challenge.
