After reading the LOTR books and seeing the incredible movies all I wanted from a game is to reinact the large scale battles such as The Battle at Helms Deep, and the battle outside Minis Tirith. Well thanks to Battle for Middle Earth, I now have that! This game does an amazing job of making you feel like your in the middle of an enormous battle. When your the fellowship it really makes you feel outnumbered by Sarumon's forces, just like in the movies. The unit building is balanced perfectly, and the battles take just the right amount of time to complete. It always has you looking forward to the next big battle from the movie. Once you finally get to the big battled you were waiting for, the are worth their weight in gold. The Battle at Helms Deep is my favorite level in the game. When it starts raining and the elves come to your aid, it just is an amazing thing. If you are a Lord of the Ring's fan then do yourself a favor. Go buy this game!
