This is it! This is absolutely the very best game on PS2, and nothing will change it.
The first word that that has to be said about this title is "huge"! I mean HUGE!!! The number of mini-games, sidequests and the things, that you can do bettween script missions is remarkable! There is always something to do. If you have enought living in a city, then go away. Buy yourself a lovely house in the desert, get yourself a fast car, take a part in some illegal races, rob some houses, take your girlfreind to the restaurant, etc. What I'am trying to say, is that like in previous GTA games, threr are always other things to do. And San Andreas brings you so many options, like never before. Not only in this particular game series.
But whats more important, this new GTA brings some incredible script missions within. Almost each is original, and gives you a lot of fun. The script itself has been improven since Vice City, and it brings more supricess, and well made cut scenes. The dialogs between characters are just incredible, and they always makes me laught!
Yes, the graphics are still not quite good, and the amination drops are significant, but the incredible state desing stands for it (now you have 3 different cities to explore, and all the badlands bettween them, so it gives you an area 5 times the same large as Vice City!!!), and is just impressive! Just like music.
Finally, our hero CJ, has some new moves. The characters animation is finally good, and now you can swim, roll and move while targeting. This gives you a lot of new possibilities:)
So, taking all the things into consideration, GTA: San Andreas seems to be one of the best games ever! EVER! It will offer you a fun and freedom like you have never experienced before! There is nothing more to say. YOU MUST PLAY IT!!! (but first find yourself about 100 hours of free time to pass it in 100% (geez, like in RPG game:))
