Intro: For years, the success of planetary colonization has resulted in several planets to become inhabited by humans. While the majority of colonies have aligned to form the ISA, the Helghast, a ruthless, militaristic separatist faction have distanced themselves secretly planning to scale an all out war. Killzone takes place during the initial Helghast blitzkrieg of the nearby colony of Vecta. As Vecta City's orbital defenses mysteriously fail, the Helghast have been able to land and deploy their troops rapidly and with ease. As the planetary defense forces become overrun and scattered into the city, the initial objective as an ISA member is to escort a high-ranking official to an evacuation point.
Ok, this shows that the developers really grabbed the attention of the public on delivering a fast First Person Shooter action game will a sense of realism and we thought it would have blown all the other shooters out of the water but we were seriously wrong.You play as four characters each with special abilities and weaponry to accommodate their playing style even so it does not exactly change things, when you are whatever character you can use a machine gun, a pistol, a sniperRifle and you can throw grenades and buckshot people and you can do a Melee attack on your foes by pressing the X button but sometimes you completly miss them by hitting the air or just going right threw them.And even if you have another character you probably have a grenade launcher instead of a machine gun, well sorry but thats not good enough for me. Anyone for a glitch? there were lots of problems with the game, for example Glitch, your walking around and theres nobody anywhere and you can't go threw the level for some reason so you decide to waste your ammo because of fustration then boom! the guy comes runing out and you go melee attack them and now you go but then a big massive object surpasses you and goes right back on top of the truck that it was suppose to be on. The sounds and graphics are really awesome and the cutscenes are great. But! there are alot of bump maping problems around your allies face i mean he really looks like crap. The A.I. are on the enemies side better then your allies, but they are still both dumb..ex: why at times you are right infront of an enemy he doesn't shoot you or at other times there tuffer then ever or even your allies they seem to be doing a great job but when the enemies pass over the border then you know your allies aren't shooting anything eccept some trees they hate or dirt they see. And yes theres online multiplayer but its no Halo. And the voice overs in the game(not the cutscenes) are downright terrible, god the enemies voice is terrible, really bad. but at least the first level feels like your in a war so the graphics and realisme are pretty intense, at times... really hard to control a sniper rifle with the scope, really, really hard.
