Just as Mario 64 set the standard for the N64, this game sets it for the gamecube. As mario evolved into 3d, so did it enhance on the gamecube and this gaame is no exception. Perjhaps some people think that this is just a rewrite, a same spproach to a 3d platform game, and i would say. Yes, perhaps you are right. But for those who play it, this game is filled with challenges. As you open up worlds and places to visit, you open up new views, and new races to the stars. Here you get to gather the sprites. Little suns that will free the island. This game is filled with so many graphical things that naming them takes too long. there are in each world the so called 'secret' levels. here you return to a 3d version of a 2d platform game. it looks amazing and plays even better. You will be filled with frustration if you fail, and the sweet taste of victory if you make it to the end. Finding all the sprites will take some time, and not once did i feel bored. Owning a Gamecube and not owning this game is just not an option.
