First impressions are often the most important ones. This is one situation where that will be the most misleading one.
The music is ok, nothing fancy. The graphics are so-so (could defenitely improve). So when you are confronted with this you might wonder why to go ahead with this game. It is the second part Gameplay and depth of game that will get to you as this game is one of the games where these two make up for everything. As you go through the levels, you will go through many personalities, levels and surroundings. It is acctually level 1 that sets the tone for part of it. As you progress from level to level you will see that the green bar represents your sanity and as you go through the places, the lower that bar the weirder the game gets. You can leave bloody foottrails. the heads of statues follow you around. Or you could enter a room upside down. the game is filled with these little moments to make you nervous. Nervous you will become as part of this game is not unlike Resident Evil effects. The levels and the characters you play are all connected in some way, they are all part of a story, and it is a good story to follow. I will dare say, that this could make a nice movie.
No mmatter how you vision this all. It is well worth the play.
