I'm going to start off by acknowledging that the game isn't perfect. It suffers from major graphic glitches, most noteably in whole areas not loading before you're walking/driving around in it. Considering the scale of the game, though, and all that is crammed into it, I think some flaws are bound to show up and can be forgiven.

With that out of the way, I love this game. This title is huge, with three large cities, the countryside in between, and even a list of small towns scattered all over the place, there are plenty of places to go, room to explore, and sites to see. Besides just the boat-loads of missions throughout the game, there is so much else that the player can do that it's almost mind-blowing. It's this freedom in such a massive "sandbox" that makes this game so enjoyable, as I can just forget about missions altogether and do my own thing, which typically ends up resulting in me finding new and fun ways of getting myself into trouble, though not always intentionally.

The design team did a wonderful job of bringing Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas (Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas in the game) to life in detail that I almost feel like I was wandering around in real cities. Then we get about 188 (I think the count was) songs from the era (1990's) that even further take us back to that time and place. Then there's the large assortment of weapons that you can stockpile and a legion of vehicles (including planes, boats, trains, and helicopters) that you can steal, each with their own feel and behavior and even their own ways of operation in some cases.

There's just so much stuff in this title that I don't know that one can cover it all in less than a small book. I really think there's something for pretty much anyone in this game. I highly recommend it to anybody that likes gaming.
