Knights of the Old Republic II builds effectively on the franchise established by the original game. It is a great game for all RPG fans, and in is in no way inferior to the original. As with the first game, there is a brilliant balance between gameplay, and story, as well as light and dark paths. For those that want to follow the dark side, its good to know that there won't be fewer quests or opportinuties to level up.
Gameplay - 9/10. The game is not repetitive and at no time did I find myself struggling with controls or impossible battles.
Graphics - 7/10. Personally, I think the graphics are fine and rate high amongst the PC based RPG's that I've played. Even so, it cannot compare with Hal-life 2, which is the reason for 7.
Sound - 8/10. I had no complaints here. The sound is good and creates the appropriate atmosphere.
Replayability - 7/10. The game can definately be played through at least twice, to experience all the quests. I found it addictive enough to do so.
Overall - 8/10. I think that this score is fair. The game continues well from the first, adding enough extra features to keep players interested in the series and deserves this score.
Conclusions - This game is a must buy for all lovers of RPG games. If you haven't played the first game, get it first and you will find yourself not stopping until you have played both games.
