This review I am posting is simply based upon the online demo for xbox.

Gameplay: 9.5

The control scheme in this game is great and simple to get used to.  It uses the xbox controller to its maximum.  The gameplay is perfectly paced, it's fast and full of action, yet it involves plenty of strategy.  The game feels much more like the "bloodsport" it is supposed to, than it did with the original Unreal Championship.  According to my gameplay experience, there weren't any problems concerning glitches or lags.  This was indeed a rather big problem with the prequel.

Graphics: 9.5

This game is beautiful.  From blooming effects to bumpmapping to detailed textures, this game's got it all.  When you first play the game, you may even take a few seconds to check the box if it's xbox 2.  This might be exageration, seeig as the game is not photorealistic, but its art direction obviously did not intend it to.

Audio: 9.0

The sounds in this game really got me pumped up and when the low voiced announcer really fits well.  This time around the sound is much more intense and gets you into the game much more than it did with the prequel.  The music may not match up with that of Halo2, but it still does an amazing job for what its content provides.

Longevity: 9.5

As I had stated before, I have only played the demo version, therefore I did not get my hands on all the weapons, characters, or maps, therefore I cannot provide a full verdict for the longevity section.  From what I did play tough, I loved and couldn't stop playing.  It is so addicting, and believe it or not, I can imagine this game being more popular than Halo 2 on xbox live.  Because in Halo 2, you only get gunplay (well, there is the one sword), but in this game you get gunplay and melee, first-person and third-person action, 12 different characters with completely different attributes, more beautiful maps, and in the end, just a more complete package.  This game will suit both the third person and first person fans, therefore you will see different types of people playing completely differently.  By this, I mean, you won't see all the players simultaneously rush for the same weapon, seeing as everyone will be playing with their own character, weapon, and style.  There may or may not be balancing problems with the characters (that I have not played), but I am almost certain that the developers will patch up any problems found.

Overall: 9.4

I love this game!!!!!!  It will take over many people's lives, including mine...
