Ever wanted to be a gangster in the 1930's? Ever wanted to rise through the ranks of a criminal organisation a la The Godfather? Play this game and see how it feels.
The best way to describe this game is a 1930's Grand Theft Auto, the 3D version, with more rigid goals. You start the game trying to get into a mob gang and slowly work your way up to become a feared hitman. This is all linked in flashback by your character speaking to a detective about your life in the mob.
The graphics were more than adequate for it's time, the sound great and the control method very functional once you got used to the camera angles. However, how someone was supposed to drive and shoot at the same time was beyond me, I always decided that the car was the best weapon in these situations.
From shipping illegal alcohol from one area of the city to another and dealing with your mob's competition the game moved at a cracking pace and I never felt bored or frustrated when I reached a more difficult part of the game. That was till my character was roped into driving in a proper race at the race tracks. The driving physics were great but a little too realistic for my liking. That took a long time to overcome and come in 1st place, what an achievement that was.
Now this game is available for a very small amount you would be a fool to miss out on such a great game. Take my advice and visit this game soon.
