This is a very solid WW2 FPS. One of the biggest complaints that I had with this game was the system requirements. Running this game on a decent mid-range gaming rig proved very challenging. Long load times, tuned down graphics, and some sound issues almost made me uninstall the game 10 minutes after I got it home.
Perseverence, though, paid off. Once I tweaked my system a little and downloaded a patch, I was ready to go.
The best reason to buy this game is the multiplayer aspect. Sure, the single player missions were fun, but AI can only help out so much. Getting a full scale battle going on with 31 (up to a theoretical 64 total) other people is intense. The available vehicles and communication options really make teamwork necessary. If every member works together, a victory is a sure thing.
The game itself was made very well. The different classes, quick verbal command keys, and point based maps are great. The sound effects are top notched. The graphics (on a meaty system) really go a long ways to drawing you into the game.
Now that the patches are out, this game is well worth the price to get it. This is a must have for any serious LAN party.
