Last years Splinter Cell was a very nice port of the GBA version to the N-Gage it had all the same levels and the only upside to getting it for N-Gage was that it had Bluetooth. Not that the game was bad because it was a great game for 1st generation N-Gage games but didn't really push the hardware to its Limits. Then half a year late Ghost Recon is released. The game really showed the power of the console with complete 3D and cut-scenes. Although, it suffered for being to short. But now in march almost 1 and a half later Splinter Cell Chaos Theory is released for N-Gage showing off something totally Amazing.

Graphics 10
The game was placed into development right after Ghost Recon went gold. Gameloft showed that the N-Gage could do 3d graphics with there previous titles like Asphalt and Ghost Recon but now they were going for the big one. A Complete 3D Splinter Cell. Now the graphics when compared to the X-Box aren't as good (like duh) but the game is fluid running at about 20 frames a second. Now when I say 20 frames it sounds slow but there is very little lag actually. When you start the game you are opened up to a quick Cinematic video. It is very similar to the X-Men Legends opening in bit rate. The title screens are nice and well though out. Its absolutely Splinter Cell worthy. And when you start the game you are introduced to the Splinter Cell Tutorial (The Same one in the demo). It seems easier to do Sam's moves in this version because that was a work-in-progress. On the first level the graphic are nice similar to the Ghost Recon and it has in game movies like Ghost Recon. The Spy VS Merc mode is in the game and so is co-op so if you are in one of the those European N-Gage crazy countries your in luck. You also get Sam's famous PDA with no pictures like in the console but its still really cool and the Stick Camera is there but I cant seem to work the gas feature.

Sound 10
Splinter Cell is famous for sound and this one is no different. You are exposed to the sounds of Amon Tobin's Soundtrack in this game at different times. And you also hear every single thing that happens from coke cans you throw over guards to go look at so you can give them a second smile, to the sound of the guns shooting lead into you or an enemy. Voiceovers that the console versions were famous for aren't here sadly but it doesn't weigh it down a bit.

Gameplay 10
Now at first you maybe saying how do I play Splinter Cell on a N-Gage well don't worry its very simple there is about a 30min learning curve and soon you will discover you can crouch and at a high speed and a guard won't hear you. The AI can be very stupid at times I had a guard walk in-front of me as close as In am to my keyboard and hey walked back saying "I am seeing things"…. Is he seeing at all? But there are a boat load of challenges and the game plays through it well. There aren't any times were the game freezes. And The camera swoops quite well but you may need to assist it sometimes because the 1 thing about Splinter Cell is know you surroundings.
Final Thoughts
Splinter Cell is a monster hit when it first came to N-Gage and this one is better on imaginable scales I would give it a lower grade because of inability to play Spy VS Merc online but I will blame it on Nokia for not doing BT Tunneling. This Game is long and Fast and Exciting so If you have an N-Gage get this game and if you don't have one this is one more reason to switch phones. I give Splinter Cell a 10. I can't find anything wrong with this title.

Final Grade 10
