to be honest, it had the makings of an all time great game... but they wasted all that potential with the final outcome.
For a start, I finished it in 10 hours. I wasted time in plenty of places and I guarantee you could finish this game in a day if you tried. Its far to easy, if your good guy renoun is high enough (the stuff that determines how popular you are) random woman you incounter will be asking you to marry them about 30 seconds after seeing you. You dont have to do anything. You just sorta stand there and they all start humping your leg.... as such.
There's so much in this game that just ends up not being used. Blackjack, Trading between shops, relationships, blackjack, tons of weapons and produce to play with, lots of sub missions which end up not being used because the storyline is constently pushing you forward, collecting keys to open chests, blackjack, books to steal/read, haircuts, tatoos and even some blackjack.
All of which are completly useless because just following the storyline will give you everything you need to finish the game and the storyline incorprates none of these features. Which is a shame because if they did use all the features, this game would be huge and deep. The enviroments are wonderful and very interactive (fishing, digging, smashing windows, every cupboard in every house has something to steal). It just feels like they threw every idea in the world into this game and then, didnt use half of them o.O
Disappointing game with more potential then anything ive played in a long time. Kinda good while it lasts... kinda.
