Are you ready for the Mushroom Kingdom's next Kart racing tournament? Well, for starters, there are now two people per Kart that you can set up any way that you see fit. In this new Mario Kart:Double Dash!! game, there are also new battles that await you and 3 other friends. The three battles are Balloon Blast, Shine Thief, and Bob-omb Blast. The traditional balloon battle allows the players to have three balloons each. Beware that you can lose one if you run into a dangerous item. The last one to have all three balloons is the victor. Shine Thief is a game in which you play tag. The player with the Shine Sprite must hold on to it whil other players try and snag it. The holder of the Shine Sprite must hold on to it until time runs out to win. Bob-omb Blast is where you can blow up other players to retrieve stars on your screen. Hit a player to get stars. The first one to have all of the stars wins! There are also new battle stages such as Cookie Land where you battle on top of a giant Cookie, Block City where you can battle it out around blocks, Luigi's Mansion is where you can battle players in the hallway, main hall and the second floor of the haunted house. Nintendo Gamecube is where you can battle on top of an actual Gamecube, Pipe Plaza is a place where you can run but cannot hide. Tilt-a-Kart allows you to battle each other on a classic NES verion of Mario as the stage may tilt side to side. All in all, Mario Kart Double Dash!! is yet another Nintendo masterpeice.
