This is overall one of my favorite world war 2 games. it has an exellent storyline which makes the game more emotional. unlike its other competetors brothers in arms is bloody and gory with the ability to blow off people's arms and legs. some good things about it are: the ability to throw grenades without having to switch to it, throw it and switch back to you rifle. it does all that automatically. This game is pretty unique because you command your men with a one button system. you can order them to charge, supress, ect. the ai people in this game are actually pretty smart. They take cover and cover thier friends. in this game there is pleanty of cover because you need it. there are no magic health boxes or medics. the rifles and weapons are shockingly realistic and there are enough missions to keep you busy for a while. when you shoot people blood gets on walls and objects behind them. but watch out because this game curses a lot. you can command tanks, not drive them. if you want to drive tanks i would reccomend call of duty.(even though it has cheasy explosion graphics)It is a little upsetting that you cannot lean, or prone in this game. If you are sneaky enough to get behind an enemy tank you can climb to the top and throw a grenade inside. Another good thing about this game is you always have a squad to help you.(except for 1 mission) There is also awesome sniping from the top of a chuch. This game has the same story as the series BAND OF BROTHERS. This game is more authentic than others because there is no crossair but it can be toggled on. in this game you use the tactics supress and flank a lot and it can get a little boring after a while. there are very realistic explosion graphics and mortars are terrifying in this game. There are beautigul environmental graphics like sunset and trees. The only bad part of the graphics are there are jagged lines. most of the other games have smoother graphics. Unlike other games you actually become friends with your comrades, or brothers in arms. you will be able to recocnize them and their voices. also like most other games when people talk their mouths don't move too much so it looks cheesy. there is a lot of conversation in this game too. you dont get many grenades in this game.(max 5)you need to use them wisely and sometimes you dont have any at all. you can't take any from bodies either another good thing is you can aim using the rifle aimmer.(i hate it when it just zooms in)This game is very intense it is probably the most realistic WWII game out there. I reccomend it.

graphics 9.4 excellent
sounds 9.0 really good
story 9.6 excellent
realism 9.8 awesome, some exceptions
intensity 9.3 really good

over all 9.4 (all out of 10)

rated M for blood, gore, intense violence, and STRONG LANGUAGE
