Rengoku: Tower of Purgatory puts you in a distant land as an android fighting a mysterious foe, and his legions of evil androids. The game itself is a third person gun/sword fighting type of game, the objective is to progress through the levels of the Tower of Purgatory so you may stop this evil menace, at the end of each level you have to fight a boss character. The graphics itself are just stunning, it remines me alot of Resident Evil but with androids instead of human beings. You can customize your android with different hand weapons such as swords, claws, and hammers. What I thought was kind of funny is you can place a gun that protrudes from your androids forehead. The cinema graphics are just stunning, the have this movie appeal to just about every cinema sequence in the game. The only thing that wasn't so great is the control,the camera angles and weapon ware. The control is just too clunky, you always have to double tap to evade quickly or run away which just makes it a pain really since your trying to avoid enemy fire. The camera angles play too much hide and go seek espicelly if your enemy gets behind you. Your weapons ware down too much just by doing standard things, and by the time you complete the level you have nothing left to beat the boss except your fists, which are the weakest weapons in the game. Over all its worth taking a look at it if your into third person shooters/fighters.

FINAL THOUGHT
Resident Evil mixed with I, Robot and Dollar store weapons make an android game from the deepest darkest pits of Purgatory, but shouldn't spend an eternity in your PSP.
