Ridge Racer is back with its latest installment on the XBox 360. Ridge Racer 6 is a street racing game that spans across alot of tracks with different cars to chose from. As with all street racers they have added nos this time around. On the other side the game is too much of a drift racer were you have to let off on your gas and drift aroud sharp turns and corners. The control with both the d-pad and joy stick is a bit too sensative and you may find yourself crashing into walls or spinning out easily. Your nos gauge takes too long to recharge so you can in those extra boosts of speed. Lastly the announcer uses old catch phrases like cowabunga and radical which is just annoying since i havn't heard these terms since watching Ninja Turtles when I was a kid. If your a racing gurue I suggest renting this game before you buy it. Ridge Racer 6 falls short of its exalted status this time around.
