OK, lets get one thing sorted straight away, this is NOT a serious racing game, its a balls out street racer with a serious need for speed (soz for the pun, if you've played need for speed underground 2 youll know what we mean, but midnight club 3 just seems to be alot faster, while looking better and flowing smoother, having said that, you may get bored quickly. Sure, its got all the licensed vehicles and parts, but that wont compensate for lazy gameplay, the races are split into catergories which are down to the vehicles you are driving (tuners,SUVS,muscle,chopper,supperbikes etc) and to participate in these races you must have that specific vehicle, which means buying the vehicle, then modding it up, which, unless your a parts freak, could take an age and bore you silly.
The one thing I do like babout midnight club 3 however, is the vehicle powers, these are vehcle specific powers that enable yuor car to do something special to help you out (the tuner cars have excellent physics, while the muscles unleesh a mighty roar that knocks cars flying, and suvs hace like a few seconds of invulnerability that knocks cars and enemies flying, perfect for when your mad!!:D) Basically, the bottom line is, if you like the street racing games no doubt youll enjoy this, for a while anyway, until the boredom kicks in and you cant be bothered anymore, but until then, this is a fun, frantic and fast racer that will make your eyes bleed with the rate of speed!
