This is yet another attempt for Nintendo to cash in on the Pokemon liscense. This game is so simple and easy a 4-year old could beat it in a day. But strangly, I find myself liking this game. Sure it's really repititive but I had fun playing it. Why you ask? I'm not really sure myself. I had fun making Pikachu scamper across the stages going from checkpoint to checkpoint. The game actually does have some good points. The races are quick and simple (maybe a little too simple) so you can play one race on the bus and not worry about not being able to finish it. Also, it was cool that I could take my pokemon team from one of the other GBA games and make them into a cup-like series. And the only other good thing I can think of is that it is sort of addicting. But with these few good things comes many bad things. For one thing, you can scratch up the DS screen with all the stroking of the stylus. And the game is way too easy and waaaaay too short. Also, I wish you didn't have to be Pikachu all of the time. This is a fun game that would be very good for your younger brother or sister but probably wouldn't be worth too much of your time.
