Multi-player's fun. I've only touched single-player but once. The graphic and sound design are top-notch. But the actual game itself is so generic, so standard, and so devoid of any originality, that I just stopped playing and booted up multi-player. Dual-wielding weapons? First-person shooters have been doing that for years, and Bungie is just catching on? I'd also like to mention the fact that you can now hi-jack vehicles. Seems like Bungie has a little GTA envy. Not only that, The gameplay is very repetitive. Basically, you shoot aliens. A lot. It a'int Half-Life 2.
And what about the story line? Ooh, it's the "Aliens have taken over the planet and a trained marine has to save it!" story line. How unique. Gasp, and it's in the future! This should be interesting and worthy of a movie deal.
The game can be fun in small doses, but repetitive gameplay and a Plain Jane story line keep me from fully enjoying Halo 2. Makes me wonder why Halo got so popular in the first place...
