If I could describe Metal Gear Solid 2:Sons of Liberty in one word the word would be awesome!
The game is just so awesome, I'm not sure where to start. Hmm, I guess I'll start off with the overall gaming environment of Metal Gear Solid 2:Sons of Liberty. In this game, the graphics are absolutely flawless. Evertything looks so real. In fact it's almost as if the events in the game took place in real life, and you are seeing actual footage of the events taking place. And not only do the sights look real, but the sounds do as well. Everything sounds like it would sound like in real life. And I'm not just talking about the people, but their surroundings as well. It's just as I said before, flawless.
Now I'll go over the gameplay. MGS2 is a stealth based game, or as they put it, it is a tactical espionage game. So most of the time, you are going to be sneaking around from one place to another. You can also do all kinds of stealthlike maneuvers as well. For example, you can: crouch, do somersaults and dive rolls, hang from walls and other platforms, flatten against a wall to peek at your enemies without being seen, knock on the wall to get your enemies' attention, throw your enemies to the ground, break your enemies necks, and much, much more! And if you didn't think that that was enough, you can also use all kinds of high tech gadgets and weaponry, such as; silenced and unsilenced guns, missles, rocket launchers, chaff grenades, grenades and other explosives binoculars, thermal and night vision goggles, etc.
Next, I'll go over the game's plot. The plot is the best part of this and every other MGS game to date(even better than the gameplay). Some people play the Metal Gear Solid games strictly for the plot(yeah it's that good). But anyway, the MGS plot is very extensive. The cutscences are so long that you almost feel like going and getting some popcorn because at times, it almost feels like you're watching a movie. The plot has so many twists and and turns. And it's not like a regular plot where you can easily guess what's going to happen, oh no, it's virtually impossible to figure out what will happen next in the game. In fact, if you can figure out what will happen next in the game throughout the entire game, then I am convinced that you have supernatural powers(yeah it's that hard to predict). The plot is simply incredible.
MGS 2 is an incredible game in every way. In fact, on a scale from 1 to 10, it gets a 10!
