Metroid in 3d? I know what you're thinking... "Way to go, Nintendo! You've screwed up yet another franchise." But wait, they actually did it right. The guys behind this game actually captured everything that made the 2d games great.
Graphics: Have you seen the screen shots? I don't even think I need to say anything here.
Sound: If you've played the older versions of the game then you'll love the sound. They have remixed versions of all the classic music. The sound effects also seem to suit this game very well.
Control: It takes some time to get used to (especially if you're used to Halo) but once you get the hang of it, it's not so bad. It would have been nice to have customizable controls though.
Replayability: You'll probably play through this game once or twice unless you're a die hard fan. There's not a whole lot to keep you coming back for more.
Overall: Nintendo hit the nail on the head with this title. If you own a Gamecube and haven't played this game yet, do yourself a favor and pick this title up.
