The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is an interesting turn in regards to the series. Like most people I would have preferred an alternative to the cel shaded graphics but this game is too good to be fixated on the stupid graphics. The hero of the game is not really Link but a young boy who is a ancsestor of Link. When your little is kidnapped you have no choice but to leave your peaceful home to go rescue her. Of course upon going on this journey a slew of new problems arise making your quest a little more meaningful. How do you go about traveling the world? On a living ship that was once the king of Hyrule. Too much time is spent sailing from place to place making the game feel a little slow but once a new spell is obtained it is easy to navigate the entire world in seconds. The new bosses do not disapoint. They are huge, colorful, and a brand new stratedgy is needed to defeat each one. Though different from past Zelda games WW does not fail in becoming one of the greatest games of all time.
