The graphics look great, the explosions and smoke effects are amazing. Zooming in and cycling through weapons looks really good as well. Mech animations are great and really make it look like they are HUGE lumbering beasts. People that say it's too slow probably want Godzilla to run marathons as well. The only downside is after you blow up a mech/tank/bulding/whatever, it either disappears into the ground, or disappears into thin air. I hate this in games. When you kill something, leave it there. If it blocks your way or something you have to blow it up a few more times to make the rubble small enough to step over. If stuff didn't just plain old disappear, I'd have given it a 9.5.

Sound: 7
Nothing memorable and not instanlty annoying. Serviceable.

Offline Gamplay: 5
This is fun and pretty easy and I only give it a 5 in that it would be horribly disappointing if you didn't have Live. Once you played through the whole offline campaigne once, I see little reason to go back. There are some maps that you could take a different route (like go over the mountain instead of along the river), but most levels are "Kill/Destroy Everything" so It wouldn't make much of a difference. I'm enjoying it right now, but a few weeks from now I doubt I'll ever play it again.

Online Play: ?
I've only played a few online games, but so far I LOVE IT. I haven't customized a Mech yet (not sure what kind I want to build) and haven't been in the War long enough to get a feel for it. Leaning towards a 9 or 10, but want to give it more time before assigning a grade.

Replayability: No Live = 3. With Live = 10
On Live, this is not a game to throw in when you have 10 minutes or you're a 14 year old with ADD cursing up a storm because Mommy's still at work and can't hear you. If you are willing to invest the time and effort, and can find others similar, I see no reason to tire of playing this for a long, long, time. Here's to hoping people stick with this game and don't drop off the face of the earth making it hard to find online games like what happens with many games.

Overall: 6 without Live. 9 with Live.
To give a completely different analogy as to if you'll like this game...if you prefer the action and pace of Ghost Recon more than Call of Duty and you like Over G better than Blazing Angles, you'll probably like this. If you HATE Ghost Recons slow and methodical play and get frustrated when it takes more than 1 min for the online game to launch, you should probably stay away from this. Also keep in mind, a 40 ft 10 ton hunk of metal doesn't run at breakneck speeds. There will be times that you'll have to walk for 5 min in order to get into a battle or find an objective. Realism to some, utter boredom to others. I just tend to step on trees and fences and stuff during my walks for fun :)
