Tekken 3 was the bomb when it came out. Everyone was talking about it so i bought it. I wasn't too happy about fighting the CPU, it was just too predictable with the storylines of Tekken and Tekken 2. What I loved was all the new moves and graphics [Boy were they good for all the way back then]. But what really got me hooked was the VS mode. You could hit people on the floor and play like a dog, or you could battle that uncle that almost always beats you with those kicks from Hwaorang. It really got me hooked. The only downfall was the fact that endings were pathetic. I was more into the Mortal Kombat sort of ending, but hey, i couldnt complain. What really gave the boost of this Tekken was all the hidden material that you found out with no intention, the hidden characters, the hidden volleyball game and everythin else. My verdict, if you want something to keep you bussy for a feww weeks to a few months, buy it. You want old-skool beat-em-up games, then buy it. You want great graphics and awesome music, there's definitely more better games out there.
