This is the most bug, glitch-filled Madden to date. Ranging from a glitch in the punt Return AI to inaccurate stattracking (QB sack yards for loss are deducted from PASSING yards instead of RUSHING yards--as it should be) to CPU controlled players---Running backs in particular--that do NOT fatigue, regardless of how you tweak the settings. I was really looking forward to Madden 06, but it seems while the game took two steps forward in some areas---passing vision, more defensive set variations, better penalties calls--Madden FINALLY has some defensive pass interference calls!---but it also took THREE Steps BACKWARD.
But either in the rush to get the product to stores or bad beta testing to downright carelessness, this is a step BACK from previous years.
HOPEFULLY the folks at EA are going to correct all these careless, sloppy glitches for the Xbox 360 version. It sounds like EA has dedicated a lot of time/money/manpower to developing the Next Gen version. My best piece of advice is to take a wait and see attitude and wait for the NextGen version. The "current console" versions are a MAJOR dissapointment.
