Sega Rally defines Sega. Sega was at their peak and luckily this game will always be there to remind us of the arcade-kings and their now seemingly forgotten achievements.
The frame-rate was so close to the arcade version, I had to rub my eyes in disbelief.Only three tracks and four cars, but most gamers from that era clocked more time on Sega Rally, compared to the time gamers would spend on current titles eg Gran Turismo-series. Realism is not Sega Rally's strongest point, meaning that it is not a rally simulator. This is a arcade racing game. The need to beat your lap times, makes you come back for more, and even after all these years it's still pretty easy to get addicted. At the time, nothing could satisfy me more then to take sick leave and just escape to world of Sega Rally.
I just feel that we should give some recognition to titles like Sega Rally. A game that stood out from the rest, a title that made a lot of people buy the Saturn. Respect.
