Well I'm sure by now you've heard that this is one of the most addicting games ever. But why, I mean it seems so stupid, its basically like trying to make a really big snowball. But there really is something so satisfying about rolling over a person, or car, or elephant. Get your Katamari real big and you can roll up sky skrapers and clouds, even Thundergods.

The story(if you can call it that) is basically just there to give you a reason to try to make a katamari. Basically the King of all Cosmos got drunk and knocked all the stars out of the sky. And its impossible to play through this game without thinking at least once, that the people at Namco might have been on acid at one point or another during the development cycle. I'm not kidding, this game has DANCING COWS, that's right, let me give that some time to sink in...ok, but honestly, this game is extremely fun.

I got to give the developers props though, it costs so much to make a video game now a days, so its tough to take big risks that might flop. But this is probably the wackiest title I've bought since Mister Mosquito. But anytime a game is original like this, I at least give it a chance, because if everyone looks at it and says its stupid and doesn't play it, then we're gonna get stuck with countless sequels. I'm not saying that's bad, don't get me wrong, I'll be the first in line for Resident Evil 5 and Metal Gear Solid 4, but its nice to have a title like Katamari Dacacy thats just simple fun. And its so addicting, some of the later missions take 20-25 minutes, and it honestly feels like 5.

The graphics aren't great, they're more of the cartoony type graphics, but they aren't bad. You can tell what everything is, but there isn't any amazing lighting or shadow effects or anything like that. But thats not a big deal.

The music is great, its so catchy. And it really sets the mood for the game, and never feels out of place at all.

Overall, this is probably the most original game of the year, and possibly the most addicting.
