Tony Hawks on the GBA is slightly different than the other formats in that it is not proper 3D. Instead it is all in isometric views in an attempt to loo 3D. The little handheld does have limitations after all. Even in isometric views thought this game is still great. It still has loads of goals to achieve and tricks to pull. In fact I was surprised at how many tricks the developers have managed to cram in. The controls are pretty easy to get the hang off as well. So much so that you should find yourself pulling off some pretty impressive stunts I no time at all.
The only problem I came across was that it was sometimes difficult to line up the skater with exactly where I wanted him to go, which on some of the more tricky goals became a major hindrance. But there's still loads to do, load of hidden extras and load of skaters to try out. This is probably the best THPS on the GBA. Versions THPS 3 and 4 are not quite as enjoyable in my opinion.
