Well, what a major disappointment. I should have looked into this game a bit more before getting it. I was expecting standard Metal Gear action. Instead it tunrs out to be a card based game where you take it in turns to move around. "Oh well, it could still be good", I thought. After all I have enjoyed turn based strategy games before.
I couldn't have been much more wrong. This game is not awful by any means, but it definitely isn't very good either. The whole card system is to confusing to at first and takes quite a while to get used to. It doesn't help when the instruction manual is as unhelpful as it is. By the time I was getting used to what to do I had become so bored of fumbling my way around that I had lost complete interest in the game. I forced myself to carry on in the desperate hope that it might get better. Alas it did not and I seriously doubt that I shall even consider getting Metal Gear Acid 2.
