Super Mario World was one of the Mario games that made the Mario name famous. It was the successful sequel to the NES classics. The sharper image on the SNES made it so Mario's and Luigi's face could be seen. Different cheats could be activated to get lives, mushrooms, points, fireflowers, stars, and etc. The ghost houses were by far the best addition in my opinion because they were challenging and unique. Secret passages also were a big part in the gameplay as I spent numerous hours looking for them. The bosses all had different patterns and were fun and challenging. The final boss was kind of a disappointment because he was in a helicopter thing, but it was still fun.
This time, Nintendo added Yoshi, the green dinosaur everybody knows and loves. They added 4 different kinds of Yoshi, and they each had their own unique power (except for green Yoshi).
This game was one of the most memorable games in my childhood and is still one of my favorite games of all time.
