Need for Speed Underground is the best racing game that I have ever played. It was original, fun, and exciting. NFSU separates itself from other racing games because it was one of the first video games with the "street kind of feel", cars could be upgraded, and the controls were awesome. Almost all racing games are based off this game and the simplicity of this game adds to its replay value. For instance, in most street racing games like NFSU2 and Midnight Club 3, you have to drive to the races that you wanted to go to. This got to be a real pain in the ass and was extremely time consuming, but the races in the original NFSU were all listed out so you could just click on the races to race. I also liked controls in NFSU because they were not too realistic to the point of being impossible to master or just plain annoying (Gran Turismo). This game had incredible graphics even though this game came out in 2003 and I tip my hat to EA for doing pretty good.
