When Call of Duty 2: Big Red One came out, I kind of got bored of all of the WWII shooting games out in the market but when I played it, it was instantly worth my time and money.
CoD 2: Big Red One has amazing graphics and environments for PS2 standards. The incredible visuals and background graphics were so stunning that I actually felt like I was part of the game. The missions, cut scenes, and characters were all believable while all of the battles and weapons were real. In fact, you can unlock movies shown during the WWII era and description of weapons that were used in WWII. The game not only allows players to engage in battles in first person shooting, but also in fighter planes, tanks, heavy machine guns, and many more. There are many different guns throughout the game that you can come across and they are just awesome. Additionally, this game had great controls on the PS2 dualshock controller. The only flaw was that there was no splitscreen multiplayer, but there is an online multiplayer.
