This game has stunning space battles and a very creative story line, but it's biggest fault would be it's length.
There are three difficulty levels you can select for story mode. Bronze, Silver, or Gold. Bronze at most would take you about four hours, Silver probally around six or less, and Gold I'm thinking eight or more. Don't play it on Bronze, at least start with Silver and make this game worth your while.
It seems like they tried to make this game like Star Fox 64. But in that game there were different routes you could select depending on your performance in the previous level, and there were also two seperate endings. This, however, you go through ten missions where the events are the same regardless of the level your on or performance. It could have been more complex and longer, which would make it worth the fifty dollars it sells for.
It's still a fun game, especially V.S. mode if you have siblings or friends to play with you. I do like this game and now I'm wondering if giving it an eight is a bit high. Maybe it's just because I'm a Star Fox fanatic. Well, in the end, I'm just glad I'm not the one who paid for it.
