Mario has done golf and tennis,now its time for soccer(he is Italian after all).But Nintendo have made this game so unrealistic,and thats the way all Nintendo games should be.
Basically you pick a captain(Mario,Luigi,DK,Yoshi,etc)and 4 other players(Koopas,Hammer Bros,Birdos or Toads).Then you step out onto the pitch for some frantic 5-a-side action.The game is so fast paced,and you can score from the half way line,using impossible shots.And a Mario game wouldnt be a Mario game if it didnt include items.Green Shells right through to Chain Chomps,use whatever you can get hold of to stop your opponent from getting near your goal.
Another big aspect of the game is that there is no referee.There are no rules.So instead of slide tackling your opponent,you can just ram 'em into the wall.Thats the easy way of doing things.
Super Mario Strikers does lack 1 player mode,but multiplayer is a blast!I highly recommend this game to any gamer.92%
